A DIFFERENT XXL DOT DRESS

Buenos días y feliz jueves a todos!

¿Cómo va la semana? Venga, que ya queda menos para que podamos disfrutar del fin de semana al máximo 😉

Una de las tendencias que apunta fuerte, entre otras, son los topos. Estamos acostumbrados a ver los topos en la temporada de primavera-verano pero este año se han revelado para que también nos acompañen durante la temporada de otoño-invierno, sólo hay que mirar las colecciones cómo Carolina Herrera, Loewe, entre otras muchas. Este año se llevan con aire folclórico, a modo de pequeñas gotas, en tamaño XXL y en acabos de degradé. En este caso al diseñar el vestido que llevo en las fotos me incliné por los topos tamaño XXL,  pero sólo en la parte superior del vestido, para no cargarlo mucho y darle un toque un poco diferente al vestido. Las mangas las hice con acabado acampanado para darle un poco de volumen al final, ya en verano se han llevado mucho y de momento no nos van abandonar en invierno.

La parte de la falda la hice con forma irregular y con un poco de volumen para que no quedara un vestido recto y el toque final… la forma del cuello.

Para complementar este vestido me puse mis bailarinas negras acabadas en punta de Asos  y este clutch de Bimba & Lola que fue un regalo especial que me hicieron hace ya unos año y me encanta, lo que más me gusta es la maxi cremallera dorada que tiene. Para complementar el dorado del clutch me puse unos maxi pendientes del mismo color.

How it’s your week going?

 Come on, the weekend is coming soon and we will be able to enjoy it to the fullest 😉

 One of the strongest trends for this season are the dots. We use to see them at spring and summer, but it seems they have risen up this year, and will be with us also in fall and winter.

Just take a look to some collections such as Carolina Herrera, Loewe, among others.

We will see them in a folkloric style as small drops, in XXL size and also in degradé patterns.

When I designed this dress that I’m wearing I leant towards XXL dot size, but only at the upper area of the dress, in order to don’t overdo it too much.

I made the sleeves with a bell bottom shape to give them some volume. This summer, the sleeves with volume has been very popular, and looks like they will be still there next winter.

The skirt part was made with an irregular shape, and some volume to don’t make it look so straight, and the final touch, was the neck shape.

 To complement this dress I put on my black ballet flats from Asos, and this clutch handbag from Bimba & Lola. It was a very special gift that I love, and what I like the most is the big zip that it has. I complemented the zip’s gold color with these maxi rings.
